Actually i think it was 32 bhp. (according to my friendly neighborhood Honda dealer).
In that issue of "Motorcyclist" (9/82) they rated it at only 25.7bhp. :think:
(i think someone was sniffing preimium fumes that day.)
The sad part is that the bike it was up against (a 1982 Yamaha XT550) was rated at 34.2bhp and turned a 13.995 quarter mile -w- a 90.72 mph trap speed!!
Still not too bad for a couple of 20 year old 320+pound "dual sports", eh? :thumb:
