01,02 03 rm125

from my previous threads you would probably know that i am coming off a klx125 and I am looking for a 125 2 stroke mxer now i have found a great deal on a 01 rm125 would it b worth saving 300 to 800 bucks and gettin an 01 instead of getting an 02 or 03 how much better are the 02's than the 01's is there much difference and the same question for the 03's what do you reccomend? thanks a heap

I dont think there would be very much of a difference between them. I would save the extra money from the 01 and maybe put aftermarket stuff on it. (it will probably allready have some) I say go for the 01 or 02, which ever is in best condition.

I have an 02 RM125. As I understand it, the primary differences are a better front brake and a bit more low end on the 02. By the way, I love the bike . . . Handles like a dream and has plenty of power for me - especially on the top end . . . 5'5" 145 lbs.
