The left front fork on my 01 yz250 is leaking oil, and I was wondering if there is a way to add oil to the fork without dismantiling it until I get around to fixing the leak.
i would get a manual if i were you..but i think you can take the fork cap off and put some oil in there...i know you don't have to disassemble the whole fork assembly to add oil...if it's leaking you should try searching for "fork leaking" or somethin of that sort..you will find many tricks on how to fix the leakage w/out having to replace all the seals...many people use a piece of 35 mm camera negatives...use the search engine on this site you'll find tons of threads plenty with that trick to fix your problem!
You can add oil through the air bleeder screw hole. I use an eye dropper to shoot the oil through the screw hole. Film negatives have always worked perfect for me cleaning out the dirt in the dust and oil seals.
