Hello, I changed out my stock pipe an uprgraded to a plat.Pipe. I think my bike has smoked quite a bit since I bought it from the original owner. I don't think it is an engine problem but with the new pipe it sure smokes a lot. Right when I start it, it seems to blow pure smoke and unless I rev it and goose it on the take off the likely hood of a fouled plug is high. I am using ohh 93 octane, highest at gas stations and using fully synthetic oil now. I was using yamalube until I heard that might have been the problem. But it is still smokin' and my friend said the jetting probably needs to be changed. If so, what should I do? Smaller or larger? It is still stock jetting. Also, I heard if you place a tshirt over the air filter and it smokes less than you need to ajust accordingly but Im not sure which way or if its true. Thanks to anyone who has imput. Ride safe!
