02 cr250 fork hieght

the manual for the 02 cr 250 says forks can be lowered but not raised. it looks to me there is about 10mm of space where the forks could be raised. anybody tried raising the forks on this bike

The issues is your wheel hitting the fender underside , and you going over the bars, as your wheel comes to a stop...
