Good post Woods, I went on the NETRA & ECEA sites and saw the schedule as posted above. But there is not yet any info, (location). Does anyone know where the "Milk Run" is located? I live very close to Lembo Lake, but Ive ridden that one so many times, it leaves alot to be desired.
ECEA's first event of the year is Snowball Run, but I see it is put on by the Maryland riders, so I'm assuming that'll be too far south for me. Any info on central NY events/rides? Thanks! Shaw

Unfortunately my ability to travel to events will be cut-back a bit this year. I'll be riding all the "close" NETRA events.

H/S - Lembo Lake, Catra and Stateline.
Enduro - Berkshire Oddysey and Lip Flapper.
T/R - Mohawk and the Triple B (I think that's the one in the Berkshires).

Not sure on the ECEA and/or WNYOA events. Maybe the Speedsville Enduro and a couple of the close H/S races.

I've got the opposite problem then you. You're just getting started with kids, my problem is my kids are all grown up and my wife is starting to feel abandoned when I go riding. I had planned on doing all the enduros this year but I may have to re-think that. Regardless I'll be working the Lip Flapper and riding the Berkshire Oddessy

That's always been my problem, but at least you don't hear the "you moved me away from my family and friends" :whiner: excuse every time you go riding. :ugg:

Maybe if we sold our bikes, but then they'd just find something else to complain about. :scream:

Well, I've got those seven NETRA events marked on the calendar along with the Texas Qualifier Enduro. So I might be able to squeeze in something else.

Are you working the Kockaponset this year?

Don't know. Myself and another guy have been laying it out and doing the route sheet for the last 12 years or so.We're getting kind of burnt out. I told the trail boss on Sat. that I was riding it, his only reply was how I was doing that and the route sheet at the same time. If I decide to run the series I will be riding it. If I don't, I give him a hand. Either way I'll be there.

BTW nice cover up with the spelling

Catra scrapped plans for their Junior Enduro, but might run a Nervous Novice the day of the Harescramble. I'm still interested in having a beginners enduro/timekeeping class (no computers allowed). Probably could run a closed course enduro on Catraland, but a bigger section of land outside of the Adirondack Park would be better.

What is a Turkey Run???
A Turkey Run is a route sheeted trail ride. No racing, you ride at your own pace. At the end the club will sometimes give out trophies based on the best poker hands.

That's the only way I'll ever get to be an "A" rider. ;)
