Welcome to DRN!

First of all, let me fill you in on a little bit of good info (for your own benefit). The DRN Community has very little tolerance for "internet speak" and plain old bad English or poor typing skills. Effective communication between members should be just that: very effective.

As far as the TTR125 goes:
I assume you are new to riding. If my assumption is correct, and you are tall enough, the TTR125 is an excellent beginner bike for you. It has good power, good brakes, good suspension, and is not very hard to maintain. (As soon as I find one for a good deal here in Japan, I am going to buy it for my wife to learn on) Master it, and move on to something bigger in the future.

The ttr 125 is not very good... a little kx65 will blow it out. It wouldnt be a bad begginner bike for someone who is pretty small and someone who has never ridden b4 but if you are looking at something like that, i would get an XR 200 or a race 80/85cc.

yzrider, I guess it all depends on who's riding the bikes, huh.
Tell us more on how the ttr is not a very good bike?:think

I put it right up there with the XR100 for begginer bikes.
I don't think the man asked if it was the fastest race bike out there.
And a race 80/85cc bike for a bigginer is one of the worst suggestions I've ever heard.

Are you a beginner, ymh?

a race 80/85cc isnt a bad bike for a beginner... it all depends on what you want to do with the sport, if you want to race, then you should start off with the race 80, if you like to trail ride and you are looking for a relaxing ride with low maintenance, then sure go with the TTR but i still think that the XR200 would be better, but i also didnt know you were a small guy. So i would get the XR100 or the TTR 125 or maybe even a DS80, they are a little 2-stroke that is easy to ride and would be a fairly good size, if that is too small then try a DS100. ( do they still make DS's? :think )

-YZRIDER-,

the ttr isn't a bad bike.. i learned how to ride on one. i would have almost killed myself with a 2-stroker 80....

BTW, your username is quite unique is it not?:p
