bought Pro-Circuit's platinum pipe, R-304 shorty series silencer (with race end cap) and V-force reeds. I was wondering if you would beable to give me a starting point on jetting? According to the owners manual (and me being located 538 ft above sea level) the stock jetting should be dead on for a non modified bike......honda is wrong (go figure) as the bike ran on the rich side since i bought it. I figured i'd wait on playing with the jetting till i got the pipe and reeds installed (why do the same job more than you have to).
standard jetting according to honda for sea level to 999ft with temperature between 59-80 degrees farenheight looks like this: Air Screw: 1 1/2
slow jet: 30
needle clip: 2nd
jet needle: 6bhy38-73
main jet: 420
I run c-12 race fuel only with honda hp oil at a 32:1 mix ratio. any help you could provide i'd appreciate. thank you.
