Before I went hog wild on the carb, I just took it one step at a time.........I bought a few plugs just in case...... I started with pulling the tank and draining the old gas.........then I changed the plug and cleaned the air filter while I was at it. I put the tank and seat back on finger tight and decided to try and fire it up........I figured if it didn't fire or struggled a bit, then I would move to the carb........ I didn't get a chance to really wind it out, just did a few laps around the neighborhood............then I let it sit for a few minutes and changed the tranny oil, adjusted and lubed the chain, and gave it a bath and wipe down...........fired it up and took it for another spin and it ran great.........might be a tad rich.............there was a few droplets of oil on the edge of the silencer, but I would think that would be normal? If it was really pouring out, then I would have been concerned. I was happy not to have to take off the carb, but the more I tinkered around the less intimidated I was about it. Thanks again!
