Does anybody have any experiance with a 14/44 gear on an 03? I'm currently running a 14/46 with real good results, but upon the advice of my dealer, I've installed a 44 tooth rear on my spare rear wheel. Bear in mind that I'm a 52 year old C class rider, and the 03 is much snappier than my old faithful 99, and thats not always a good thing for an old guy. I've got the rear axle pretty far back(with the 46), so I'm thinking of removing a couple of links of the chain to bring my rear axle closer and make it possible to go from 1 wheel to the other with minimal hassle. So just wondering if anybodys tried this combo & with what results. Thanx, M.
