Santa recently brought my son a new RM 65. From the first time it was ran I could tell the jetting was too rich. The rear fender gets a decent coat of spooge every ride. I have already dropped the main jet from a 190 to a 180, but the problem persists. Has anyone messed with the jetting on an 03' RM/KX 65 yet? If so can you tell me what you did? Thanks in advance for any answers.

You can fine tune the pilot jet and airscrew. You can go one step leaner each time until you find the correct combination. I would go back to the 190 main. FMF has jetting specs on their site and you can email pro circuit above for jetting specs.

My 9 year old rides an '03 KX65 with stock jetting in it and we haven't had any problems with spooge. He's an aggressive rider though and rides on the pipe most of the time. Could just be the difference in riding style. We're running a Moose torque spacer, Boysen dual stage reeds, FMF Fatty pipe, and Power Core 2 silencer.
