Help 03 xr70r wheel bearings

Bought an xr70 and trying to freshen it up. Trying to put new front wheel bearings in but there is a rubber boot around the bearing on one side. How do I remove the rubber boot?

I'm not familiar with how the bearings are set up on that model bike but from looking at the parts diagram it looks like the boot just peels off of the bearing. It's just a dust seal.
