I've been calling around looking for pre-owned bikes (an 03 WR 250 is at the top of my list). The only one I found the shop tells me it needs new head bearings (I'm not mechanically inclined so I don't know if I should be afraid, very afraid, or non-plussed), and when that work is done, they'll likely retail it for a little over $3k. BUT, they said they haeva leftover 2004 WR 250 that they'd "blow out," and said that would be likely in the high $4s. That's still a little rich for my blood, but I don't know what a reasonable counter should be.
