05 250 Intake questions

Is the intake system the same on the 05 as the 04? I have an 05 and I bought a Vforce for the 04 to put on it. When I took out the stock I noticed it already had carbon reeds. But the valve was different. Will the Vforce 3 for the 04 work for the 05? I thought the motors went unchanged.

A freind of mine put the V-Force reed cage from his '03 YZ 250 on his '05 YZ 250 with no problems at all, so I guess the answer is yes.
