Hello everyone! New to the forum....I purchased this bike a few months ago and the guy told us that he had to run a hotter than stock plug in it. So, we rode the bike a few times and it performed okay, not great, but it would foul the plug regularly. I started investigating and found the air mixture jet was almost completely closed off and was stopped up. I cleaned teh carburator and then it ran much better. Daughter took it out for a ride and it melted the electrode on the plug. She said it was smoking from the boot. Itook teh hot plug out and put the original plug back in and the bike will not start...Did we burn something up? Thanks!

It's me again, I checked the coil for firing and it appeared good. Is there a chance the coil may not be producing enough voltage for the plug? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks!

You need to jet the bike.

Go back to the stock plug. Changing heat ranges is not the answer.

Run a leaner pilot jet and tune from there.
