Just got my son the 2002 KTM 65SX. It uses an
NGK BR8EMS plug that sells for TEN bucks! Are
you kidding me?

What are you guys using? How about you KX65
and RM65 guys?

Hey, I'm used to paying $1.89 for BR8ES plugs
for my '99 YZ250. I mean, come on!

Are you guys using something else?

I just went out on sparkplugs.com and used
their application match for the 2002 65SX.

It says I can use an Autolite 4051 plug that
costs $2.24. That's not so bad. Anybody
else using that?

Hey, the sparkplugs.com site also has a
Champion C55 plug for $3.69, but it only
lists a match for up to the 2001 model
year.

Am I out of luck on this one because I have
a 2002 model year 65SX?

My son's kx100 is supposed to take a plug that has so many letters in it I can't even remember 'em all off hand. I do remember I about fell over dead when I heard the price! I just stuck a BR8ES in it & called it good.

The '02 KTM 65 needs that plug as it's shorter. A normal plug will not fit under the frame backbone with the motor in.

If the Autolite is the same, then give it a try.

We have run my son's 65SX since the first of Oct on the same plug. My other son's KX85 has been through three since that time.

I ordered 4 from Munn Racing. They were $8.79 each but we got a 15% discount. Total for 4 plugs including shipping was $35.00.
