12 YR Old Killed, So Sad

I was reading the local news website and came across the tragic news of a 12 YR old who was killed riding at a local track. My prayers go out to the family. They must be devastated right now. It sounds like the track owners may be in some big trouble.

It's never good when riders break laws to ride, but I think it's even worse when a track operator breaks the law.

I also don't get why more tracks don't use flaggers on practice days.

When I broke my leg at Casey a few weeks ago, I intentionally rode about another 100 yards down the track to get to a spot that I knew I'd be seen by riders coming up on me. Where I broke my leg, it would have been difficult for a guy coming over that jump to see me, if I had dumped it there.
