I was wondering what experiences you have with aftermarket pipes
on KTM 125 SX 2002, I'm not looking for that much overrev, more midrange would be my choice (even tough there is plenty of it as it is ;) ) I've read lots of comments about cutting the silencer for more peak power, but how does this affect the rest of the powerband? I'm not buying a pipe at the moment but I tought about buying an extra in the summer (currently -15 degrees celsius here, very cold to ride  ) and might as well buy some other than stock..

On the 2000 KTM 125sx a shorty silencer only made more peak and overrev-you would not benefit by the sounds of it.I like the FMF fatty pipe on my 01.The PC and DEP systems are also good. The KTM engine is actually easy to improve with a pipe, this is surprising as it is powerful std.
