144 pipe questions

I recently sent out my sons rm125 to be bored and ported by Mr. Gorr. Are there any pipe recommendations out there? Also can we get away with the stock pipe for a little while or would that be killing our newly found power?
P.S. mid to top porting/race fuel/mx & sx racing

Don't know if this will help but I ride a 310KX bored and ported by Eric. I have tried a PC pipe a FMF gnarly pipe and a 99 and 02 stock pipes and on my bike the stock 99 pipe works the best overall.So i would think the stock pipe will work OK. Good luck Ed

Eric just did my 04rm144, i had a quick peak inside and its a work of art.

ive managed to pick up several pipes to test, FMF factory fatty, PC, Bills and Doma.

once the snow clears, i will do a shoot out so check back, but for what its worth, the factory fatty has always been a good pipe for any 144.

I'm running the Bill's Pipe that came on my bike when I bought it. Eric said it would work fine. It does.
