1983 HONDA CR250R interchangability

What other years and models parts are interchangable with my 83 CR250R? I know alot of CR480R are.

A lot of 81, 82 cr250 parts are the same. Check out your clutch cover, the magnesium on the 82 and 83 are VERY prone to severe corrosion in the water pump area. If it's not bad and there are no other leaks in cooling system, try Evans coolant, it doesn't corrode magnesium parts.

Are the 82 Kickers the same as the 83?

I'm pretty sure the kickers are interchangeable. 450 and 480 too. Maybe even the late 78-80 cr250 also??... A friend of mine bought one made for a 480 to put on his 82 250 and it fit very good

i know for a fact that the kicker's are ,i've put one in my 83-came out of an 82

what do i need to replace on my 1983480R? the kickstart does not grab.it runs good and i just bought it for 700$ it needs a little resto but it looks good. also fork seals are leaking can i still get them? thanks480 mike
