1983 Kx80

Hey guys,

I recently picked up a 1983 KX80 It needs a new bottem end but i have two questions

1. Will any other year engines fit? When seaching for parts it seems 83-85 are similar but i'm having trouble confirming this? I can find all the parts i need from an 84 (Crank/Rod and bearings) so i was wondering if i could use them?

2. Where do you guys go for KX parts? The More sources you have with older bikes the better :cool:

Ya i have picked up alot of stuff from there!!!!

However I'm not sure if i can mismatch cranshafts,

I looked on bike bandit and they call for different part numbers for each shaft but (they may do that to sell them at different prices :whoa: ) so
