1987 rm80 bogs in first and second but rips from 3rd up

i got this bike running but it doesnt kick in until the thrid gear then she rips like crazy but bogs and slowly gets through forst and second i have no idea whats wrong with it. Any ideas?

Old post, im learning jetting 101, the pilot jet is the off idle culprit, go 1 step leaner, check those reed valves, hard starting is an indication. I bet by now you have a 250 or a 450, good luck if you dont...
