Hi guys.

Just bought a 1991 Cr 250 that me and my brother are rebuilding.I'm looking for a seat cover and Grapics kit that are not to expensive and look good, any suggestions??

Also like to know if any of you guys where eyeglasses under your goggles and if there are any brands that are made just for that.

Thanks Steven

Keep your eyes peeled on E B A Y, nice seat and graphics kits are nearly impossible to find new. The manufacturers don't continue making them. With patience I was able to find an awesome graphics kit, as well as a seat cover for my 93 CR250 on E B A Y. It took almost 8 months till I found and got what I was looking for. Good Luck. Keith

A seat cover for the CR500 fits perfectly. The 92 CR 250 seat will not fit the 91.
Don't wear eye glasses under your goggles, unless you want the glasses to get driven into the bridge of your nose when you crash. Wear contacts. The goggles with the prescription lenses suck imo.

please tell the story how you have had glasses shoved on your nose during a crash, then tell me why they make full face helmets along with goggles made for glasses. ive worn my sunglasses under my goggles hundreds of times without a problem??????

The seat cover from other years may fit correctly with some stretching and tweaking. They have some room so they can be custom fitted to the individual seat when installed.

As to the OTG goggles, Scott 87's work great. I've never had a problem with them, and as mentioned, don't worry about the issue of glasses in a crash, so long as you wear a full face helmet you will have no worries. They do tend to make your glasses fog up when it is hot and you are riding hard and then stop, or if it is cold out and you stop, but that issue will be there with any goggles.

1990 on CR500 seat cover fits absolutely perfect. No fussing required.

Ellandoh,
I wore glasses since I was 8 years old. I've crashed on many occasions wearing glasses, and had the frames smashed into the bridge of my nose. It hurts bad, and lots of blood too. Faceplant one time wearing glasses and you'll wish you didn't. I also have a nice 1" long scar that follows my eyebrow from having a plastic corrective lense cut in nicely. No the lens didn't break, the edge caused the cut.
Not wise at all wearing sunglasses under a MX helmet. Do what you like, it' not my face. Besides, why would you wear sunglasses? Goggles can be purchased with tinted lenses or lenses seperately purchased.
I could see wearing a pair of glasses like some basketball players wear. They kind of look like swimming goggles. The frames are made of rubber.
No, I've not seen a full face MX helmet that was designed for use with glasses. Are you wearing a street bike helmet?
I've tried the Pro Vue goggles years ago. I didn't like them. When you take the goggles off you can't see! Very awkward. The view from the Pro Vue goggles is strange as well.
Contact lenses or Lasik's is the way to go.
Finally, of course they make goggles that go over glasses. They also make Fix A Flat in a can. Neither is a good idea, but there's a market.

You guys smashing your glasses into your nose must be crashing HARD. I've never had a problem when I have worn them, although I agree that contacts are much nicer, but sometimes I don't want to put the contacts in either. I've had them rammed into my nose playing basketball and soccer and such, but never from crashing a bike. I guess you must crash a lot harder than I do.
