I just bought a Yamaha DT200.. the motor was rebuilt by a competant mechanic and it seemed to run fine.
The motor was originally rebuilt because it had been run wide open for about 15minutes on the highway and the motor siezed..
Anyhow I was riding it yesterday and it was running good other then the odd bog trying to climb some hills.. then on the way home getting up to speed on a backroad not anything extreme or prolonged periods of time the rear tire locked up briefly and then free'd itself.. motor is toast.. takes nothing to over and spark plug is burned out badly.
Now my question is what would be your guess as to what is causing this?
I would think carburation issues.. but I'm not familiar with the oil injection system.. any ideas would be helpful.. the seller is picking up the bike today and taking it in to be fixed but I'm wondering what else I should be lookin at...

Thanks, JROCK
