Hey...

I bought my 1997 CR250 from a guy that really took care of his stuff... There was nothing wrong with the bike what so ever... I had the bike over looked and my friend was shocked that there was nothing to be done to it...

Anyways, to the point...

The guy has always used Pro-Honda HP2 Racing Oil (32:1)

On the bottle, it says 1 pint to every 4 gallons. He said that he would run 1 pint of oil to every 5 gallons.

Is this a bad thing? What should I do... I don't want to change the brand of oil because, the bike runs like a champ...

Thanks for the help guys...

from what I hear you saying, instead of running the bike at 32:1 (32 pints of gas [4 gallons] to one pint of oil), the previous owner has been running it at 40:1 (40 pints of gas [5 gallons] to one pint of oil). My limited knowledge of two strokes and mix ratios, this is a pretty standard ratio for two stroke bikes. If it works, stay with it.
