1997 kx60 water pump seal help

My sons bike has water in the trans fluid. I believe it is the water pump seal. Do you have to take the clutch cover off to do this.

yes, unless your water pump and case cover are not one peice, which i think it is.

I've got the same problem with my son's 97 kx60. I just bought a service manual but cannot find the part number for water pump seal. Does anyone know what the part number is? I plan on doing the work myself. Is this an easy job? Thanks
