I've heard two different stories. one story is, when you see pros riding 4 strokes with 2 stroke 250s the 4 stroke is a bigger bike, meaning the 4 stroke is a 450 or a 400 instead of a two stroke. And that 4 stroke 250s race in the 2 stroke 125s devision.
However, i have also heard that 4 stroke and 2 stroke 250s race together.
What i am asking, is i have a 4 stroke 250, i race MX, in C class, should i be racing in the 125cc devision? or should i stay in the 250cc devision?

That would depend on the rules at your track. I know most tracks here in MI allow the 250f to race the 125 two stroke class and the 400/426 run the 250 open classes.

Your correct Ben. I think that is ama rules and more than likely the track will make you adhere to that. However, I'm kind of surprised that let you run the 250f in the 250 class.

The rules are probably on the AMA website.
