I'm looking at a 2000 kdx 200 2 stroke for sale and it gets spark sometimes but not always so I was just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction if its the coil pack,cdi box,or the stator plate

Did you replace the spark plug? Verify the wires are getting a good connection?
