how do I know if my bike is a 200 or a 220? Theres a kdx200 sticker on one side and then a kdx220 sticker on the other. My dealer said hes pretty sure its a 200, but isnt there a way to tell the two apart? Its a 2003 kdx something.

You can run that vin# thru buykawasaki.com.

If it was a new bike, the 220 comes with an o-ring chain...the 200 don't.

The jetting is different between the two cuz the carbs are different sizes. 35mm on the 200, 33mm on the 220.

Dependent on whether this is new to you...or new to you those are some of the differences that are fairly obvious.

......or, you could just check the VIN! ;)

The old air cooled units had a displacement cast into the cylinder near the base. Don't the new water cooled ones have something similar?
