How's the power spread compared with a 250f? How does it compare to the 250 xcw? Will the suspenders take some moderate mx? I'm looking to buy a more trail oriented bike, but still mx a bit. I had a RM 250 and sold it because I wanted something more maneagable in the trails. I have been happy with the crf's power and the way it is delivered, however it is very loud and smells funny (like a 4 stroke). I didn't ride as often last year, so I wasn't concerned with cost of maintenance on the 4t. However my wife has taken up the sport, so we ride almost every weekend. I think in the long run I would be better off on a 2t. What's the service interval on a top end in a 200? I figure we'll do about 100 hours or less per season, so if I could get away with running a piston for a year, and re-ring mid-summer I would be happy. Anything you didnt like about the smoking pumpkins?
