2000 yz250

so im replacing the Bottom and top end of my 2000 Yz250 the bore looks extrememly good and i can see the cross hatch marks on the cylinder..there are no scrape marks or scratches? can i use the standard size piston?

measure the cylinder. If it is within specs and good condition, as you describe, you can reuse standard piston. If you try to go oversize, you'll have to sleeve or replate your cylinder.

You mean the top end, right? I bet if you can see the crosshatch you will be fine with the stock piston. I think they come in different sizes though. On your cylinder I believe it is stamped with a letter, A,B,C, or D. The stock pistons com in these sizes. If you get a weisco it is one size fits all.
