2001 Honda CR 250????

I recently bought a 2001 Honda CR 250, the guy said it was bored to somewhere around a 270cc? What piston would it take cause I want to rebuild it. A Wiseco .080" ?

Buy a micrometer and measure the bore...its the only way you will know.

Send it to a professional. Somebody, or everybody could be pulling your leg? If it is a Wiseco, it will say so, and the size/model. If it broke, you will need more work done, and a good price on parts! Vintage Bob

I haven't pulled the motor apart yet, it's still in the bike, and I want to run a Wiseco so I was just wondering. I won't be taking the piston out of the motor for a few months still.

If its a big bore, I have to say it has a Wiseco in it now. But, fools with tools, who knows?
