2002 CR250 any good??

I have been riding a 2001 YZ426 for the past year on motocross and hare scrambles mostly and have been offered a 2002 CR250 recently. After reading TW Motocross and seen the rating they gave it(bike of the year) I was wondering if i should buy the new bike???
any opinions?

Great handling, Great suspension.... down on power. Coming off an '00 CR250, I rode both (CR&YZ) bought the YZ because of the motor!

If you've got the green, PC is doing a hop up kit for the CR's;) Coming off a 426 I think you'll be disappointed though.....get them to "offer" a CRF:confused:

2002 cr250

I got one of the cr250r2's as soon as it hit the store. I have ridden a 2001 cr and a 2001 yz a bunch. Last years cr feels about the same to me, except its a little more nimble and smoother suspension. The yz's power hit a little harder but I like the smoother power of the cr. It seems like your not going fast on the 02 cr, but thats because the power and the suspension is so smooth. The bike feels way lighter than the yz also. :p
