I have had the 02 cr125 exhaust flange on my 2000 CR125 for awhile. It has been fine but the silencer doesn't want to go all the way into the expansion chamber. Is anyone else expirencing this problem and if you are how did you fix it. It came out during a race this weekend and it wouldn't go back on without any tools.
thanks

the reason for this is because the 02 exhaust manifold is longer than the 00...and that makes the expansion chamber sit that much further away from the silencer. I've got just the opposite problem...an 02 with a shorter 01 manifold and the pipe sat too far back.

It should be alright if you have tight enough clamps holding the expansion chamber and the silencer toghether... I took a peice of hose from an auto parts store and cut it down to about an inch and a half and put 2 hose clamps around it so it would be tight enough to not come out.
