2002 Husaberg hi-lo comp. adj. fit older WP's?

I got to ride some 2002 Husabergs and noticed the rear shock has a hi-lo comp. adjuster like a Yamaha. Hex on outside,screw in center. The shock body looked identical to older models. I was wondering if anyone knew if you could get and install the 2 stage clicker in an older shock? No parts books out locally for Husaberg WP's to check part numbers.
Anyone have a clue?

I'm pretty sure the internals are also different by quite a bit.

The new WP hi/lo comp adjuster for the PDS shock WILL NOT fit into the older model shocks. The casting (actually a forged piece in '02) is completely different.

It would be a nice idea, but it just can't happen. Maybe you can buy a complete '02 Berg shock for your older model??

I had a chance to inspect my friends '02 KTM 250 SX and I believe that the new adjuster threads into the shock where as the old adjuster unit was held in by a retaining clip. Beyond that, the new adjuster seem larger in diameter.
