2002 KX65 in Colorado- 5000 feet elevation

I have a new 2002 KX 65. I dropped the main from stk 190 to 180.

Dropped the pilot from stk 25 to 22.5, raised the neelde clip up a notch to lean it out and it is STILL Rich.

I am running a B9ES plug (one range hotterthan B10 stock)

The plug insulator is shinny and dark but not dripping wet or oil fouled.

There is a little spooge from the tail pipe (just repacked)....

It sounds like I'm close here....should I go to a hotter plug?

Raise Clip to top?

Any Ideas here??

Thanks,

John

I would try raising the needle to the top clip see if that doesn't help you might want to go to a leaner needle if it doesn't work then.
