2006 Kx250f same as Rmz250f ?

Just curious if these bikes are still the same just with different plastics....? Looking into another dirtbike and have heard of the inherent problems the Rmz's have. Looking to stay FAR away from them.

2006 is the year that kawasaki split from suzuki.


the 04-05 kawis and the 04-06 suzukis are the same bike.

So, is the 06' Kx250f a reliable bike? Does it share the problems of the 04-05' models?

Some people may bash me for this, but I believe that for the most part a bike is only as reliable as the guy riding it.

If you keep up on your maintenance then the bike should be reliable.

If you do some searching around here there has been alot of talk that the early models had definate design flaws...... I'm just trying to gather info. ;)

Thats true, but no worse then the valve eating hondas..........
