220 carb bore

Hey, I was looking at sending my 33mm carb out to fredette racing to have to bored to 36mm. Anyone had this done? And is there any disadvantage to boring the carb as opoposed to just buying a 35mm? Thanks.

I just had Jeff do mine and it is great. No loss in low end (to speak of) and it pulls and pulls. Also, Jeff had the jetting perfect it is so crisp throughout the powerband....Go luck...BTW, very fast turn around also...
