by the time you are done buying all the parts you will need like pipe, silencer, cdi, carb, and complete engine you will have more money wrapped up in the bike then you would if you sold your 125 and bought a 250. Not to mention all the fabrication work you will need to do to the frame and swingarm.
It's been done, and done, and done. I'm sure the service honda CR500 handles like crap. :blah: I've seen a kx250 in a kx125 frame. I've seen kdx200 engines put in many different frames. With some good planning and some welding skills darn near anything is possible! If you've got the money to spare and a hair up your rear to do it, I say go for it! Someone around here posted up a cr500 engine in an older xr80 frame.
