I am trying to decide wether to buy a 250 or 125 ...both 2 stroke. 1) your physical size (both height and weight are important) Height = 5'11 Weight = About 150lbs 2) How physical / aggressive are you ? Very Physical and Aggresive 3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ????? Plan to ride on open land with 1 or 2 jumps .... Mainly vast peices of open dirt + Trails 4) Do you have any riding experience? I have been riding for 10 years now 5) Do you think you will race ? Only trails + Gruge races ... Not on a track 6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work? Yes 7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)? 2 Stroke...Not RM 8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry? NO 9) How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike? $1200 10) Do you live in California? No 11) Your age? 16 years old 12) anything else that you think would help form an opinion I have been riding for a long time... different cc bikes . But my own personal bike was a 2004 kx 85. I sold it about 10 months ago because i out grew it... Yesterday I rode a 2004 CR 125. It was kool but felt a bit slow on the top end. Thats why i am considering a 250...But i am kind of concerned that it may be tooo powerful for me to handle. I got used to the 125 very quickly and the acceleration was good.
