2stroke vs. 4stroke

I am getting ready to move up to the 125 class this summer and can't decide between a 125 2 stroke or 250 thumper. Could ya'll please tell me which u think is better and why, and what u would buy? Thanks

i raced a yz125 last year and just rode my new yz250f today at the local track...i will not even compare the power of that bike to a two-stroke, it isn't fair...get a four-stroke, any one of them would suit you fine but two-strokes are dead, my first impressions today have sealed my mind, a two-stroke just can't compare to the torque and "pick-up" of a four.

Unless you're JBS, then all 4 strokes are sucking wind. I suppose it would matter what your riding style is? eg, I doubt Pastrana would have ridden a 4 either (in his day). Barnett? Nope.
