My family thinks that there is no way that we could have fun on the dunes. We live in Oregon and we will only gb on the winter.. Is it possible for the bikes to do fine in the wet sand?:p

you won't have any problem. the bikes would do fine in dry sand and the wet sand is even better. dune riding is my favorite kind of riding. now go have fun.:)

I ride with a couple guys that take their XR400's in the dunes, and they go pretty good. I've had my 600 in the dunes in the middle of summer, and it still did fine. I've taken my 650 out several times, and it performed beyond my expectations.

The sand will be even better if its wet. You just have to remember to get up as much momentum as possible for the larger hills.

Hmmm.......the 100 and 125, not sure about. The 225 should be OK, a guy I ride with's kid rides an XR200 in the dunes sometimes.
