Hey guys after riding race quads my whole life i want to try a dirt bike and need some help finding the right one.

I am 6'2 and 180 pounds

I am experienced with fast machines so no 100cc recommendations please :ride:

Once i am used to the bike i ride a little fast

I want a nice reliable machine!

I need a bike that can keep up with 400cc-800cc sport quads through the trails

The trails i ride are mostly flat/hilly with few steep hill climbs and few water crossing

I also have a friend with an outdoor track with 10-40ft gaps and tabletop jumps

I NEED A MACHINE WITH A LIGHT ON THE FRONT

I prefer 2strokes but 4strokes are fine as well

Brands do NOT matter as long as it is reliable

I can spend $3000-4000 on a new/used machine

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Your question has a few inconsistencies. A bike with a light on the front would indicate that you want a trail bike. A trail bike isnt designed for jumping 10-40 ft gaps and tabletops. You can get a new bike for $3-$4K, but most likely not one that will fit someone of your height and keep up with 800cc 4 wheelers. You need to decide which route you want to go...trail or track...there is no one bike that will do both flawlessly. Fill out the sticky at the top of the forum page.
