I am trying to get the carb on my '79 TS250 adjusted correctly. In first and second gear the bike sorta sputters. It idles OK and, once I get into third, it kicks butt. It sorts sputters again at the top of the RPM range while under load. Does this sound like lean conditions or rich conditions? Slow jet or adjustment screw? I haven't played with my two strokes in a couple seasons since the kids moved out on their own and I'm afraid I pretty much forgot everything I used to know about them.
