With the clutch cover off, the kick shaft is able to move about 1/8" back and forth, you have to manually overcome the sideways pressure of the spring to move the shaft in line with the hole in the clutch cover to reinstall it. Bearings and everything else look ok and the kicker works well, just wondering if it is normal for these things to have some play in them. Once the clutch cover in in place, the shaft is held fast and does not wiggle.
