82' yz80 carburator model?

hi,

i just bought a stock yz80 carburator (used of course :). I can't tell what model it is? My dealer is totally clueless. they can only look up parts but the counter guys are like..."iono". jeez. how pathetic.

anyway, can someone tell me what model came stock on that bike that year? then i can order gaskets and jets.

the 1982 YZ80 came with a 26mm Mikuni VM26.

The 82 YZ80 was a great bike, the first year of water cooling for that model and maybe even for all of them, I can't remember...I was 11.

But the 1983 YZ80 was one of my favorite bikes of all time, it had great steering and awesome power. I won many races on that bike and went to LL's and placed 5th in a moto. Had I not crashed the first moto, I would have a very large trophy from that race. I ended up 21st overall.

The 1982 YZ80 was my first race bike and right now I'm restoring one (actually I have 3 of them right now)
It was the first year of any 80 to be liquid cooled.
Wow a 5th at LL that's pretty good!!
