83 cr 125 vs newer 125

hey i have an 83 cr 125 and am looking for more power. it has been bored out although not sure how much. was wondering how much more power would a newer 125 have or should i be looking for a 250??

There will be a substantial difference in the amount of power. The biggest difference though will be the Suspension and the ability to go faster on the newer chassis.

go for a 250 unless you like the peaky 125
