'84 RM125 project

My father in law would like me to fix up an old '84 RM125. It needs a left side case half due to a tossed chain.

What years will work?

If I remember right I believe 1982-1984 used the same basic engine. I would call around and check with the used/salvage motorcycle places, I am sure they would know for sure. Also if you can get a good deal on it, I would consider getting the whole engine (bottom end), sometimes different cases don't always match up quite right and would save you the trouble of splitting the cases etc.
