I need a new front tire and so far these front tires sound like they work excellent. Has anyone tried one yet on a 125? My favorite setup as of lately has been dunlop D755 front D756 Rear. I like to know if the slightly larger tire makes steering feel heavier? Is there only the bridgestone?

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and didn't get any responses. I think only bridgestone is offering that size tire at the moment. They offer the 401 in a 90/100/21. I actually emailed bridgestone's technical department and asked them if it was much heavier than the 80/100/21 and the guy was a total jerk about it. The way he respond was totally unprofessional, I actually felt insulted. The reason I asked the question in the first place was because I read in Eric Gorr's book that you shouldn't even use heavy-duty tubes in small dispacement bikes because the extra weight could cause drag. I actually would have proffered that he didn't respond than to get a disrespectful one.

I'd say try it. The worse that can happen is you don't like it and then have to get a different tire.

Sorry, I deleted the email last week. The way he responded was totally unprofessional in my opinion, I actually thought I was emailing the wrong person at first. When I told him why I was questioning about the weight of the tire he responded by saying "WE ARE TALKING 10MM HERE!!!" I don't know, maybe it was kind of a dumb question know that I think of it, but he didn't have to respond the way he did.

I have the tire on my YZ 250. I know, I know, different bike. Seriously, get the large tire.

The amount of extra weight is small, but real. The extra traction is well worth the weight. The tire is excellent.

At last years supercross here, anyone who was anyone was running the oversized tire. 125's, 250's whatever. The factories spend thousands to save weight. If the tire was not worth the extra weight, they would not be running them.

How are the 401's in the mud and sand? I'm gong to be buying fr & rr tires how would this combo fair? Sorry I ask I haven't been follwing bridgestone tires been alittle bit anti them as a tire choice for a good long while. Anyone know if there's gonna be a dunplop version like say a 756?

Thanks for the info. Rcannon. At the time I email Bridgestone I was planning switching back to the 125, but I decided to just keep my crf, so the extra weight wouldn't matter anyway.

As far as Dunlop, I read somewhere that they will be offering the 739 in a 90/100/21, I think it was in MXA.
