I have a 1994 kx 125 that needs a top end rebuild and needs to be plated. I only ride woods and would like more low end for climing hills and mud. I have a full FMF exhaust on it with FMF reeds. I am going to have Eric port the cylider and lower the ports to give it more low end. He also mentioned that I could bore it to 144. I like the idea of having the extra power and he said it would last quite a long time. My question is what you guys think I should do. Right now I like everthing that Eric has said and trust his opinion but would just like some feedback. Also what octane gas should I use and is there a break in procedure.
